Dominique Ansel returns to be news, this time for a very summery initiative. From July 22 to 28, the entire Soho pastry display case will be turned into a fruit market stall for farmers with its Summer Marché collection.
The French chef has looked for the best seasonal fruits from around the world to create these beautiful and fresh cakes: Peach Pie Donut Peach Tart, Harry’s Berries (the darling of Southern California farmers markets) Strawberry & Anise Tart, Champagne Mango Tart, Rosé Raspberry & Basil Tart, Black Mission Fig (which first came to the US when missionaries planted them in San Diego) & Shiso Tart, Maradol Papaya Lime Tart, Rambutan Tart, Fresh Passion Fruit Milk Chocolate Tart, Kingsburg Orchard Red Pluot & Maple Brown Sugar Tart, Golden Pineapple & Guava Tart, and the Blackberry & Earl Gray Tart.
