Mooncakes by Pierre Hermé to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival
Inspired by the Mid-Autumn Festival, which has been held in Asia for over 3,000 years, Pierre Hermé interprets the traditional mooncakes and proposes four colorful versions: Praliné & Chocolat (Chocolate pound cake, flaky dark chocolate praliné), Ispahan (rose and raspberry cake, litchi and rose fruit paste), Infiniment Vanille (Soft almond and vanilla pound cake) and Thé Vert Matcha & Yuzu (Matcha green tea and candied yuzu cake). Presented in a luxurious box, they can be purchased from September 13 to October 8.
The festival will take place on October 4 when the full moon will be the brightest of the year according to the Chinese calendar. An ideal time to offer and share these typical Chinese cakes, symbols of family unity.
