Pierre Marcolini opens his first chocolate bar in Paris
From 6 January to 12 May 2017, Pierre Marcolini will install a pop-up chocolate bar in the atrium of the grand Parisian department store, Printemps Haussmann.
This is the first time the master chocolatier will open a chocolate drink and cocoa infusion establishment, and he will do so in a dreamlike and contemporary setting, made of chrome and polished concrete. Videos of Marcolini, who is one of the protagonists of the next and imminent so good #17, will be played on the windows, displaying this Belgian chef’s savoir faire for all to see.
Visitors, in addition to trying some of his iconic creations (coffrets de chocolat, tablettes, coeurs, macarons, and financiers), will be able to taste delicious chocolate-based drinks such as the Belle à Croquer (hot milk chocolate, Madagascan vanilla, and marshmallow cream) and Iced Chocolate and fresh raspberry, or the cocoa infusions like Belle de Nuit (cocoa husk infusion with jasmine flower), Belle de jour (iced cocoa husk infusion and fresh ginger), and Spritz (cocoa husk infusion, Aperol and Prosecco).
