The Asian Pastry Cup, the Asian qualifier for the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, will be held at FHA-HoReCa from March 3 to 6, 2020.

Ten countries will compete to try to be among the top three in the round and have access to the grand international final to be held in 2021 in Lyon. Among the candidates, we find Malaysia, winner of the last edition of the Cup, which will have the option to compete again for the title as long as it passes this continental qualifier.

Japan will participate as a guest, as it is one of the TOP 3 countries automatically classified for the next edition of the competition.

There will also be a top 3 countries, formed by the three best nations in the history of the event (France, Japan, and Italy), and four wild cards which are the United Kingdom, the USA, and two countries to be confirmed that will automatically go to the Lyon final in 2021
