Five countries will compete in the next European Pastry Cup

Ana RodríguezTwo months before the celebration of the European qualifier of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, which will take place for the first time at the Europain fair, we now know the name of the five countries selected to compete.
On January 12 and 13, 2020, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, and Ukraine, which competes for the first time in the competition, will face off to be among the top three in this round and have access to the great international final of the Cup. The order in which the teams will participate is the following:

In the grand finale, which will take place in 2021, Malaysia, winner of the last edition, will have the option of competing again for the title, but to do so they must first overcome the continental round in the Asian Pastry Cup. Also, there will be a Top 3 countries, formed by the three best nations in the history of the competition (France, Japan and Italy), and four wild cards which go to the United Kingdom, the USA, and two other countries to be confirmed and whose participation in the Lyon finale in 2021 will be guaranteed.
