Ana RodríguezMore and more details of the World Chocolate Masters 2022, which will hold its final from October 29 to 31 in Paris, are becoming known. A few days ago we announced the names of the 18 competitors and now they have announced who will be the presidents of the jury.
In this competition, organized by Cacao Barry, a professional jury of 18 experts (one from each country participating in the world final) will evaluate the creations of the contestants. Each member of the jury has to evaluate and score them all, except the one representing their own country.
In order for the evaluation to be fair and transparent, there will be a committee of four presidents who will advise, guide, and lead the jury. The committee will be headed by Amaury Guichon, one of the most influential talents on the international pastry scene who sets trends with almost nine million followers on Instagram, and who always seeks surprise and originality in his work. The person in charge of tasting will be Kirsten Tibballs, one of the leading pastry chefs in Australia and director of the Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School. Lastly, the Japanese chefs Yusuke Matsushita and Sachi Takagi will be the heads of the artistic skills jury. This duo stands out for their attention to detail and their exceptional ability to create distinctive shapes and have their own visual language.
