Italy remains at the top in the Coppa del Mondo del Panettone

Ana RodríguezFrom November 4 to 6, a new edition of the Coppa del Mondo del Panettone, conceived by Giuseppe Piffaretti, took place at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan.
Although candidates from numerous countries such as Switzerland, Japan, Spain, USA, or Australia participated, Italy once again climbed to the top of the podium in both the traditional and chocolate panettone categories.
Giuseppe Mascolo (Italy), Claudio Colombo (Italy), and Luca Poncini (Switzerland) won the first, second, and third prizes in the traditional panettone section. Meanwhile, the first three classified in chocolate panettone were Annibale Memmolo, Bruno Andreoletti, and Marcio A. Orellana, all of them from Italy.
