Registration for the Relais Desserts Charles Proust 2022 competition is open until July 31.

In this edition, the competition proposes Naturalité as a theme with the aim of raising the awareness of chefs from all over the world about the ecological impact that pastry can have. The instructions are clear: each candidate must propose two creations: an artistic piece in sugar and chocolate and an entremet. Both of these creations, due to the choice of ingredients and the processes used, must be respectful of the environment, without losing quality, aesthetics, and flavor.

Patrick Agnellet will preside over the jury for the competition to be held on September 18 at Le Paquebot des Yachts de Paris. The winner will receive 2,500 euros plus a trophy and prizes, second place receives 850 euros and prizes, and third place gets 600 euros and prizes.

The artistic pieces of all the applicants will be exhibited that same day at night at a Pâtisserie Gala, in which the name of the winner will be revealed.
