Registration for the 7th edition of the Charles Proust Competition, chaired by Frédéric Cassel, can be done until June 30. Only 16 candidates will be selected to participate in this prestigious contest, organized by Relais Dessert, and which will take place on Wednesday, October 31 at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris.
According to the competition rules, the future talents of the profession will have to be inspired by the theme “Strip cartoon / comic” to convince the different juries (artistic, tasting, general public, and press), among which we find professionals like Claire Hetzler and Christelle Brua.
The contestant who obtains the most points by combining the artistic and tasting panels will be awarded:

• 1st: 2,500 €+ prizes + a trophy
• 2nd: 850€ + prizes
• 3rd: 600 €+ prizes
• Artistic award: 750€ + prizes
• Award for Taste: 750€ + prizes
• Special Public’s Choice award: 750€ + prizes
• Special Press’s Choice award: 750€ + prizes
