The eight countries competing in the qualifier for the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie

Ana RodríguezThe countdown begins … next January 24 the European qualifier will take place within the framework of the Sirha Geneva-Palexpo fair, giving access to the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie in Lyon in 2017.
Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Lebanon, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey will be the eight countries who will compete for the three spaces with a pass to the final.
The candidates will have five hours to prepare two fruit ice cream cakes, an artistic sugar piece and another in chocolate, and ten plated chocolate desserts. The big news of this call is that applicants will be required to integrate a block weighing 23 Kg and 50 cm tall of dark Valrhona chocolate into the artistic piece.
