The new edition of the mixed Mondial des Arts Sucrés championship fast approaches

Ana RodríguezFrom 5 to 8 February a new edition of the Mondial Des Arts Sucrés will take place in Paris and which, after eight years and four editions, is the only mixed international pastry competition, which focuses on teams of one male and one female pastry.
32 candidates from around the world, divided into 16 teams, will have 20 hours to prepare a total of nine creations: 1 sugar centerpiece 1 pastillage centerpiece, 1 chocolate centerpiece, 1 pound cake (gateau de voyage), 1 entremets, 3 chocolate bonbons, and 1 plated dessert hot / cold.
The jury, presided by the MOF Philippe Segond, will hand out the gold, silver and bronze medals to the candidates who best defend the excellence of pastry. There will also be awards such as the prize for originality awarded by DGF, the prize for best state of mind awarded by Europain, and the “coup de coeur” press favorite.
