The winner of Valrhona C3 is in the hands of a select group of chefs

Ana RodríguezOn October 24, the final of the C3 International Dessert Competition will be held in Brooklyn (New York) during the 11th Annual StarChefs International Chefs Congress.
The choice of the winner will be determined by a cadre of world-class chefs, including Antonio Bachour (USA), Enrico Cerea (Italy), Sergi Arola (Spain), Johnny Iuzzini (USA), Francois Payard (USA), and Jean-François Piège (France).
After months of training, the eight candidates will have to present an original plated dessert and petit four based on the theme “Guanaja 70%”, one of Valrhona’s iconic chocolates which has turned 30 this year. The prize will be an exclusive Valrhona trophy and 5,000 euros.
