The World Trophy of Pastry Ice Cream Chocolate announces itself to the international community

Jaume CotAfter confirming the members of the Italian team, the Italian Pastry Foundation, organisers of The World Trophy of Pastry Ice Cream Chocolate, has put a call out to the international community for the participation of other teams for its first edition, to be run on the 24th and 25th October 2015, during the Host Expo in Milan.
Their team members will be Paul Occhipinti, Diego Mascia and Antonio Bondi, and they will be captained by Cristian Beduschi and Rossano Vinciarelli. The team was chosen last February after a preliminary trial for all aspiring participants.
The details of the championship are taking shape as time progresses and the rules of participation in the work to be completed and the registration requirements are now available. The first 16 candidates approved by the organization among the applications received will form the panel of teams that will meet each other over two days, for 8 hours of competition each day.
The competitors will be challenged to create three artistic pieces, one of chocolate, another of caramel and another of pastillaje, two bonbons, a cake and an individual portion of ice cream, although elements from each creation may be prepared before the competition. During the same Host Expo, the FIP has also convened an international competition of Cake Design.
