Author:
Ana RodríguezYann Couvreur has invited Amaury Guichon to Paris to present two of his emblematic creations in one of his shops (23 bis rue des Rosiers). Both chefs, who share a passion for their craft, will work side by side on November 2, 3, and 4 for a charitable purpose: one euro will be donated to the Tout le monde contre le cancer association for each sale.
Parisians will have the opportunity to taste two spectacular Guichon pieces, one of the most influential talents of international pastry who resides in the United States most of the time: The ring praline, made on the basis of hazelnut sweet dough, old school praline, praline cremeux, praline mousseline, crunchy recomposed hazelnut streusel, caramel shiny glaze, and milk chocolate crunch dip, and The cylinder, made with crunchy streusel, soft caramel cremeux, chocolate sable, chocolate frangipane, and 65% chocolate mousse.
