Bakery China 2018: onsite bakery competitions and more international pavilions

Ana RodríguezBakery China 2018, which will take place from May 9 to 12 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, will host a large number of bakery championships dedicated to various topics: “Rich’s Cup” National Decorated Cake Competition, “Angel Yeast Cup” National Bread-Making Skill Competition, “Shun Nam Stuffing Cup” National Mooncake Skill Contest, “Panpan Foods Cup” Creative Western Pastry Competition of National Vocational School (College) Students, and the MBA Coffee Latte Art Competition. An edition in which there will also be space for events and competitions, such as the trial of China Pastry Cup for Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, which show the potential of the Asian bakery industry.
In the fair, the pavilions of Germany, the USA, Italy and the Netherlands, which will occupy 2,000 sqm of the 200,000 sqm of total area will also be present for the first time. They will exhibit superior bakery manufacturing equipment, as well as high quality ingredients and finished products. It is not the only international representation. The fair will feature exhibitors from around 30 countries: Japan, South Korea, the UK, Finland, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, India, Russia, among others, thus confirming the consolidation of Bakery China as a professional platform for international trade in the entire global bakery product chain.
