Connecting, discovering, learning, and entertaining are the four pillars on which the second iba: Connecting Experts is based, the digital event organized by Iba to facilitate business opportunities at a global level, and which will take place from October 25 to 28.

The first iba.Connecting Experts, organized last March, was a success: 6,031 participants from 131 countries, 5,340 direct interactions in the form of personal conversations and product information, and 11,860 online conference registrations. The event, according to Cathleen Kabashi, director of the fair, “demonstrated the need for exchange, networking, and the ability to meet in a high-level place. We are very happy that the new format has worked so well! ”.

This October, Iba promises a space for exchange between participants from all over the world in the ‘Connect´ section, product presentations, and individual consultations from exhibitors in ‘Discover‘, specialized sessions for the baking industry in ‘Learn‘, and original ideas from Jörg Schmid and Johannes Hirth in ‘Entertain‘. In addition, one of its strengths is that attendees can exchange views live with the speakers.

The next physical edition will take place in October 2023 instead of in 2021. The uncertainty that the event could maintain its international character this year has led the organizers to this postponement.
