From October 22 to 26, the next edition of Iba will be held in Munich. It will be an edition that will focus on artisan bakery through conferences given by experts, product presentations, and competitions.

For example, in terms of presentations, at iba.SPEAKERS Christoph Heger, owner of Einfach.Brot.Machen, will give the keys for artisan bakeries to survive in such a changing sector, and at iba.FORUM the traditional methods for achieving great quality bread, among other issues, will be addressed.

Iba will also be the setting for The iba.UIBC Cup of Bakers, a demanding competition that will pit bakers from 12 countries against each other. An exciting competition that resumes after a five-year hiatus and challenges contestants to showcase their skills in making bread, small baked goods, celebration products, Danish pastries, and an artistic piece.

The bakery exhibition offer will be extensive, occupying halls A3 and A4, and will showcase very diverse solutions, from innovative snack ideas to digital products compatible with AI to optimize operational processes.
