Ana RodríguezOn June 8, 9, and 10, the first virtual edition of the Biet conference (European meeting on Baking ingredients, Enzymes and Technology) will take place, an essential event for manufacturers, users, researchers, and technology distributors of the European baking industry.
Organized biennially by the AIQS Food Professional Group, they will be held for the first time in digital format this year due to the pandemic. For three days, attendees, through a technological platform, will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in Baking and Innovation, in addition to holding meetings and professional contacts. For the Group, it is essential “to continue this event in 2021 more than ever to contribute to a response from Innovation and Technology within the framework of our sector.”
Throughout the program, 19 webinars and 6 round tables will be held with simultaneous live English-Spanish translation, which will offer a European view of the technological trends in baking, clean label cake formulation, shelf life beyond fermentation, live sourdoughs, and the added value of sustainability and the circular economy are some of the topics that will be discussed at this event.
