Ana RodríguezAfter holding virtual events in 2021 due to the coronavirus, Iba returns to Munich in person this 2023. From October 22 to 26, the bakery industry will meet again to showcase new products, innovations, and exchange ideas.
As a novelty, the Fair is going to restructure its ten pavilions by theme. Packaging technology will be on display at No. B1, while visitors will find the latest in production and equipment in halls A1, A2, B2, B3, C1 and C2. For their part, artisan bakeries will be present in A3 and A4, and raw materials and ingredients in B4.
Additionally, this year the fair will have the iba.TOPICS space where a complete overview of the sector will be offered, taking into account supply and demand, and thinking about the future. To give some examples, there will be a talk about food trends and the possibilities of alternative ingredients, artisan bakery, health and sustainability, as well as digitization and quality management.
