Ana RodríguezGelatissimo, considered the largest ice cream fair in Europe north of the Alps, will hold a new edition from February 3 to 7, 2024. For five days, exhibitors will show the latest trends in decoration for ice cream parlors and cafés, as well as everything necessary for the production, presentation, and sale of ice cream. Additionally, competitions such as the popular Grand Prix de Gelatissimo and Intercoppa will guarantee spectacle and excitement.
One of the attractions of Gelatissimo is that it takes place simultaneously with Intergastra. The admission ticket will allow professional visitors to access the ten exhibition pavilions, each dedicated to different key themes for the hospitality industry. Likewise, the new Fokus Vending section will complement the fair programming. “Vending is also an interesting sales channel for ice cream companies, as customers can get access to artisan ice cream 24/7,” says Markus Tischberger, project manager of both fairs.
Tischberger also assures that the range of products and services will be broader than ever, and states that the additional benefits of attending are very evident, including continuous training and an overview of the market.
At Gelatissimo there will also be space for coffee. Experienced baristas will discuss current industry topics with small groups, competitions and workshops will be organized, and intensive 90-minute courses will be held at the Barista School.
For the more pastry-inclined audience, Gelatissimo has a trends forum, as well as the Robert Widmann Cup where participants will have to create an artistic piece around the theme, “Casino”.
