Innovation and healthy baked goods are the focus of Bakery China 2024

Ana RodríguezIn four months, the 26th edition of Bakery China will be held, considered a key barometer and trading hub not only for the bakery sector in China, but also worldwide.
Jointly organized by the China Association of Bakery and Confectionery Industry (CABCI) and Bakery China Exhibitions Co., Ltd., it will take place on May 21, 22, 23, and 24 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.
As usual, its purpose will be to track industry developments, reflect trends, and point out consumer preferences. To do this, it will gather more than 2,200 brands from almost 30 countries and regions in an area measuring approximately 320,000 m2. Likewise, they expect 400,000 professional visits from more than 130 countries and regions to attend.
This 2024, Bakery China will prioritize innovation as a key to guaranteeing the sustainable growth of the industry. For this reason, it will have several forums focused on industrialization, store management, entrepreneurship, the supply chain, Bakery+ business models, among other topics. These forums will serve to publicize future trends and a comprehensive overview of industry developments.
Bakery China will also echo consumers’ growing emphasis on following a balanced diet as a guarantee of a healthy life. The event will feature a variety of bakery products and solutions designed to be low in fat, sugar, and calories.
