Sébastien Bouillet seeks after the best amateur macaroon in Lyon

Fernando TodaThe macaroon fever does not seem to stop growing in France, to such an extent that there is no patisserie worth its salt without a selected collection of this sweet displayed in its showcase. One the best ambassadors of macaroon in Lyon is Sébastien Bouillet, with whom we spoke in the second edition of So Good..This great patissier has recently launched the ‘Lyon’s Best Macaroon’ contest, a quite interesting competition aimed at all the amateur pastry chefs in town.
All those people interested will have to make ten macaroons, being their flavors at their choice, and take them to the patisserie Chokola. The deadline for applying is next 5th November, with a maximum of 25 applications, and the jury’s evaluation will take place on 19th November. Since this is a celebration in honor of macaroon, all the participants will have their reward. Undoubtedly, this is an excellent way to promote this sweet and boost its prestige.
