Antonio Bachour, best pastry chef at The Best Chef Awards for the second time
Author:
Ana RodríguezAntonio Bachour was named the best pastry chef in the world during the sixth gala of The Best Chef Awards, held on September 20 in Madrid, in the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles. A title that he already achieved in 2018 and that adds a new success to his meteoric career. The chef feels blessed and very grateful to his family and team for this recognition because “Antonio Bachour is not just Antonio Bachour. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be here. Sometimes life doesn’t make it easy. I had very fragile health when I was young and I owe it to the doctors that I survived a serious illness.”
On a professional level, Bachour does not stop. In addition to landing three new gastronomic concepts in Mexico, he presents the second edition of his book, Bachour Gastro, and is already working on an ambitious new book release that will also be published by Books for Chefs.
This ranking, created by the Polish neuroscientist Joanna Slusarczyk and the Italian gastronome Cristian Gadau, has awarded Dabiz Muñoz in the culinary field for the second consecutive year.
