Ana RodríguezIn early September, Barry Callebaut organized an exclusive event in Shanghai (China) to present its new Ruby chocolate. Of reddish color, it has a flavor that is not milky or bitter or sweet, rather it is a taste between fruity and smooth. A completely natural chocolate with no fruit or coloring added and the company expects it to become the fourth reference in chocolate, along with dark, milk chocolate, and white.
For this presentation party, the company invited Dinara Kasko, Martin Diez, Marijn Coertjens, and Janice Wong to experiment with Ruby. Dinara, faithful to her architectural style, surprised with a dynamic cake made up of 81 individual cakes, each with a different shape and printed in 3D. Martin Diez made his legendary Volcanos finished with Ruby. Marijn Coertjens presented a chocolate cocoa pod with litchi. And Janice Wong returned to show her artistic side with beautiful and appetizing pieces.
