Countdown to Wei Loon Tan’s online pastry masterclass

Ana RodríguezOn Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28, Wei Loon Tan, member of the Malaysian team that won the last edition of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie will teach a master class online on Zoom and with simultaneous English-Spanish translation.
In this class organized by PastryBCN, the chef, two-time winner of the Asian Pastry Cup and director of pastry studies at the Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia, will give the keys to perfecting the technique in making cakes based on semi-cold and sponge cakes of different layers and textures.
At a time when the trend is to try a variety of sensations in a single bite, Wei Loon Tan will analyze the possibilities of mousses, croquants, cakes, and jams, as well as their combinations. Attendees will receive a book with all the recipes that they will prepare during the class, including La Nature, a dessert presented at CMP 2019.
