The French Spot by Vincent Attali, in beta testing thanks to crowdfunding

Ana RodríguezOn July 15, Vicent Attali started beta testing of The French Spot, a new concept of modern patisserie for the San Francisco Bay Area “that does away with traditional ideas of what a pastry shop is or can be, “says the chef. It is an online retail oriented to pastry subscriptions, custom orders, wholesale orders, pop ups and team building classes.
The idea of this business has arisen as a result of the health crisis. After being laid off from LinkedIn, Attali has teamed up with his wife Maria Zapata, illustrator and cake artist, to create The French Spot. As times are tough, they have created a campaign that is still active on Kickstarter to cover costs and they have already raised more than 14,000 euros. At the moment this digital store is only in beta version for its Kickstarter pledgers, and they already anticipate that in mid-August they will offer custom wholesale ordering plus team building classes onsite, offsite, or online.
