Author:
Alberto RuizEducation is essential for professional development and progress in the trade. Taking this into consideration, the Italian company Silikomart, specializing in the design and manufacture of silicon molds for pastry and ice cream making, has launched the modern training facility Hangar 78 consisting of two classrooms. The main classroom is practical in nature, consisting of 16 “posts” or fully equipped work spaces. A second classroom, with capacity for 20 people, will host demonstrations and courses taught by great chefs for professionals and amateurs.
The new facilities, which also include a complete shop where all of the brand’s products are made available, are at Silikomart headquarters in Pianiga, near Venice (Italy).
The opening day, which we had occasion to attend, counted on the presence of well-known chefs, pastry chefs and ice cream makers such as Angelo Musa, Frederic Cassel, Luigi Biasetto, Frank Fresson, Francesco Boccia, Olivier Fernández and Jean-François Devineau, among others.
