J’Adore by Frank Haasnoot, available in Asia only on Valentine’s Day

Ana RodríguezFrank Haasnoot has struck a deal with three Asian-based pastry chef friends to market his legendary J’Adore cake in limited edition on Valentine’s Day in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul.
J’Adore is made up of a light cherry mousse, with sakura tea cream and cherry jelly accompanied by almond biscuit and a crunchy layer of almond crumble. Plus, it’s finished with bright red glaze and decorated with dark chocolate rose.
The cake shops where you can already pre-order this creation to eat on February 14 are Pas à Pas Desserts, a pastry studio in the heart of Seoul by chef Sophia, where the Dutch chef has already taught classes; Le Matin Patisserie, a cool establishment in central Singapore run by Chef Matin, whom Haasnoot met when visiting some of the best restaurants in the world, and TOP Tailor of Patisserie, a brand new pastry studio in Hong Kong owned by chef Benny, who worked with him for several years at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong.
