Jérôme de Oliveira was proclaimed Pastry Chef of the Year at the 13th edition of the Trophées de la Gastronomie et des Vins, held on Monday, October 25 at the Palais de la Bourse in Lyon. For this pastry chef from Lyon, this recognition is “a great reward for my 20-year career. Thanks to my family, my friends and, of course, to my teams that support me on a daily basis! ”.

Organized by the media company Le Progrès and the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises association as a tribute to Lyon, they grant awards in twelve categories, from bistronomy to young apprentices or promising chefs.

Oliveira, winner of the Mondial des Arts Sucrés in 2009 and the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie 2009 at just 23, runs ‘Intuitions by J’ in Cannes since 2012.
