Le Quartier des Ânes, Swiss chocolate with donkey’s milk

Ana RodríguezIn the small Swiss town of Morges, the master chocolatier Gérard Fornerod makes a chocolate with donkey milk, a milk which is remarkable for its nutritional qualities and with a composition which is very similar to breast milk, rich in lactose, lactalbumin, vitamins, minerals and balanced in Omega 3/6.
To create this chocolate, which is called Le Quartier des Ânes, Fornerod has had the help of Eurolactis, first vertically implanted and fully dedicated to the production and treatment of precious donkey milk since 2008. The result, according to the two companies, is a tasty product which is nutritious and suitable for all those people with intolerance to the proteins of cow’s milk.
