The next edition of Sigep, which will take place from January 21 to 25, 2023 in Rimini, aspires to continue being an international meeting point for artisan gelato, pastry, chocolate, bakery, and coffee. The historic fair will once again become a complete showcase where ingredients and products will be exhibited, as well as the latest developments in technology and machinery. Additionally, in its 44th edition, it will once again focus on issues of sustainability and energy saving, furniture and equipment, showcases and counters, and everything necessary to have contemporary packaging under the motto of flexibility.

Sigep is also synonymous with major international competitions that are a platform for new talent. The Dolce Arena will host the Pastry Queen competition, aimed at pastry chefs from all over the world, and the Junior World Pastry Championship in which young talents under 25 years of age can participate, as well as the first Gelato European Cup, a qualifier where the European teams that will participate in the Ice Cream World Cup 2024 will be chosen. The Pastry Arena will host the Italian Senior Championship and the Italian Junior Pastry Championship, two championships that give the opportunity to see the skills of both veteran pastry chefs from Italy and new generations. The Bakery Arena will return to the international bakery competition, Bread in the City, organized by Club Richemont. There will also be a show and flavor at the Choco Arena, with demonstrations and talks by master chocolatiers and cocoa experts talking about the history and peculiarities of chocolate.
