Cordillera, recognized by the United Nations for its sustainability

With these case studies, which are part of the project “Promoting sustainable consumption in Latin America with better information and product design” (ICSAL), it is intended to help companies comply with the principles of the Guidelines, effectively communicate their statements sustainability and disseminate successful communication practices. This report presents Cordillera as a brand with five manufacturing facilities in more than 14 countries that ranked first as a sustainable food company according to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index in 2019 (Grupo Nutresa). A company that has established a sustainability program that covers its entire product portfolio and is based on three pillars: quality of life for cocoa trees, well-being of communities, and protection of the planet.
