Michael van der Kroft runs the Tres restaurant in Rotterdam with his wife Emy Koster, who is head of the front of the house/maitre d’. Having opened in 2021, this restaurant is already reaping all kinds of praise thanks to a very personal, daring, and technical cuisine, well supported by local products.
The young Dutchman came to the kitchen by chance, as a way to earn money outside of his career as an athlete, competing in BMX cycling. He finally chose cuisine because it allowed him to use all his creativity.
