After a semester of studying systems engineering in her homeland, Ecuador, Samira Saade realized that this was far from what she wanted to dedicate her life to. She traded computers for knives and had to settle for studying for a cooking degree, as there was no specific pastry training within her reach. Without previous experience of any kind, she did not rest until she got an internship with a chef she very much admired, Antonio Bachour. The pastry chef from Miami gave her six months and she has ended up becoming his right hand. In addition, in 2021 the American magazine Star Chefs chose her as a Rising Star.
