Dominique Ansel (so good #2, so good #7 and so good #15) is a maser inventor. He demonstrated this with the cronut and now he does it with his personal version of cinnamon rolls: Cinnamon Spun Rolls, which can be tasted at Dominique Ansel Kitchen.

The original recipe cannot be made in any family kitchen, but in this video the chef has adapted a version of this recipe for the home baker.

The way he describes the process is very interesting, from kneading the rich brioche dough to forming the cinnamon butter-filled layers, to a batter and applejack icing that takes this pastry to the next level.
